This is a tragedy, not only because the family had to endure reopening that wound when they learned it was a murder, but because the University allowed a murderer/rapist to roam the campus for 10 weeks without alerting students! I view safety as one of my top personal concerns, and I'm always on the site www.ucrime.com. Their alerts allow me to see what's going on as it happens near my house because it comes from police data.
